Happy Fall, Y'All!

On this first weekend of fall my friend, Cindy, and I spent a good part of Sunday at the Marriot Islandia for the Long Island Bead Show. This venue is notoriously hot as hell and today was no exception. Blazing 500 watt bulbs illuminating the baubles doesn't help when hundreds of  women are breathing hot and heavy, pushing and shoving (just a little), to get to the best deals. The best deals of all are always those offered by Talisman Associates as the crowds three deep will attest to. But fear not, rugged and expereienced bead shoppers be we, and we got the goods. And how...
Some photos to follow to whet your appetite for the upcoming pretties to be made with these selections.
Some  great vintage flowers and leaves, a selection of decoupaged donuts for focals from Priscilla Marban, some great wooden selections- made with sustainable types of wood, of course, from the Forest Corner-and strings of autumn-colored beads form Park Avenue beads.
I will have hours of design delight while adding these new selections and others to my already wonderful collection.
Will keep you posted (literally) as I add new selections to the shop.
